Like-Minded Volunteers

CSC is a non-profit 501c3 community benefit corporation organized by the citizens of Castellammare for the purpose of taking an active role in protecting our neighborhood against crime and fire beyond what the City of Los Angeles and the State of California can provide.

Affiliated with Castellammare Mesa Home Owners, Inc., CSC takes on important, homeowner-supported initiatives that are not addressed in the community's CC&Rs, such as brush clearance, security cameras and other security measures that help to organize the neighborhood in emergency situations and deter crime.

Wind driven wildfires are a very real threat to Castellammare. Annual brush clearance around the perimeter of the neighborhood and below it on Los Liones Drive provides critical protection. View More

CSC is mitigating crime with the installation of license plate reading cameras and facial recognition cameras strategically located in and around the community to monitor suspicious vehicles and provide information to law enforcement. View More

In 2021, CSC plans to facilitate a community-funded contract with private security to serve Castellammare residents' immediate needs and respond to notifications from our surveillance system. View More

Castellammare Security Committee is all about neighbors helping to make their community safer and more secure for everyone. Your contributions are critical to the sustainability of measures you and other residents have chosen as important to the well-being of your family and property.

While Contributing Members typically donate $200 and Gold Circle Members give $500, CSC recognizes the economic diversity of Castellammare and is grateful for whatever amount you wish to contribute.

Current Initiatives include BRUSH CLEARANCE and SECURITY CAMERAS. You may direct your donation to whichever initiative you wish to support. Alternatively, you may contribute to the GENERAL FUND, where donations are distributed equally among the initiatives. Thank you again supporting the safety and security of our neighborhood.
